Being that today is my 2nd wedding anniversary with my husband I thought it would be appropriate to choose one of my favorite photographs from our wedding. Our wedding took place on a bright summer's day exactly two years ago. Yes, we were one of those people who stormed the chapels and banquet halls to be married on the day of triple sevens, 7 - 7 - 7.
I am not superstitious nor do I gamble so choosing this day was not my attempt to secure luck for our marriage. None of this mattered to my husband who looked favorably upon the day hoping that it would be a date that would be easily remembered. As I am reading this post to my husband he interjects, "...as long as I don't get it confused with 8-8-08 or 9-9-09". Very funny, don't you think?
During our reception we were pulled aside and approached with an interview request. Initially I wanted to decline so that we could enjoy more of our wedding celebration but we went ahead and answered the reporter's questions. The photographer and reporter then asked our permission to stay and take some photographs. That brings us to the above photograph which accompanied the article about our wedding in the Sunday newspaper the following morning. We felt like celebrities.

Happy Anniversary! What a great photograph! I only have ONE candid like that from my wedding even though that's exactly what I had told my photographer I wanted. Oh well. We got married and that's all that matters right? :)
