I was so anxious for Nathan's first day of kindergarten. I pulled him out of bed and started his treatments at 6:30 in the morning. He slept straight through the half hour treatment. I still wake him up at this time but he hasn't slept through treatments since his first day.
Then we took our obligatory first day of school photos. I am going to totally overload with these photos because I LOVE their candid expressions as I snapped away, goofiness and personality that I want to remember forever!
Grandpa Frank, Grandma, and Grandpa Bill all came to the bus stop to see Nathan off to school on his first day. Nathan was recruiting all the people to "fight the wood chucks". He tried to get everyone's phone number, not that I am sure he would know exactly what to do with those numbers.
This photo below kills me, I see anxiety in his face. As soon as I saw this I went over to him and gave him a huge hug.
...and just like that, he was gone.
***** Fast forward to school bus drop off. Notice Teagan changed her outfit, probably several times. Tutu, hawaiian lei, kitty, extremely beat up "Dora shoes", as she calls them.
And he is HOME!!!!!
No way, he can't already be in K!
