These were my tap shoes at her age, they give me headaches, they are probably ruining our hardwood floors, but she loves them, and is currently wanting to wear them all her waking hours. The tap rules are as follows:
- Tip toe on hardwood and tile
- Stomp away on carpet
- New rule: only in our house, not outside, not in anyone else's house
She is following these rules 90% of the time but sometimes, for the sake of sanity, I get them to disappear way up high in our coat closet for as long as possible.
I did the same thing when I was her age!
